I just went for a run. Here’s what I wrote about it on RunKeeper:

An indescribably lovely run. I feel so lucky to be healthy and to live in such beautiful Northumbrian countryside. The sun is shining and the curlews are wheeling on the warm breeze. I saw eleven beautiful hares, two sprinting cock pheasants, a startled mallard and countless newborn lambs struggling to stand on their shaky legs. Life is good.

The council are replacing two bridges near our house. One of the replacement bridges isn’t arriving until June 2010 so we took it upon ourselves to build one…
